Give technical assistance, training, and general information on soils, soil survey maps and interpretations, farmland conversion impact ratings (FPPA), etc., to land owners, land managers, planners, agency personnel, USDA program participants, and the general public - mainly in the SW GA area. Also involved in educational/informational activities such as 4-H/FFA Land Judging, the Georgia Envirothon (high-school students), the Natural Resources Conservation Workshop (high-school students), the Conservation Production Systems Training Conference, and the Sunbelt Ag Expo.
