LandYield Updated:11/2023

LandYield is a US-based company headquartered in Chattanooga, TN. LandYield works with Finite Carbon to offer private forest owners in the Southeast, with 40-5000 acres, an opportunity to start earning ongoing income by delaying timber harvests and producing carbon credits.

The LandYield program enrolls forest projects under the newly approved American Carbon Registry’s Small Non-industrial Private Forest Lands protocol which uses a combination of USFS FIA and remote sensed data to lower development costs. This also ensures that the resultant credits are high-integrity and meet the evolving demands of Fortune 500 companies.

LandYield aims to connect family forest owners to carbon markets, allowing revenue generation while sustainably managing forests and positively impacting our environment. LandYield addresses the technological, financial, and logistical challenges that have kept these important forest owners out of the carbon market. Their user-friendly online enrollment, regular quarterly payouts, and state-of-the-art remote sensing-based monitoring ensure a steady and lucrative revenue stream for participating landowners.
